A modern reproduction of the brown leather sword knot issued with Imperial Japanese Army NCO swords. On the genuine article the leather is correct: this was the standard-issue NCO fitting. The coloured silk knots carried by officers were a separate item entirely. The piece offered here is a faithful reproduction of that leather pattern, the right material and the right form, made new.
Can be used to complete any NCO Guntō where the original knot is lost, without trying to find an original.
